Webber middle school demograhpics1/12/2024 "I've actually traveled quite a lot - including spending a semester abroad in Austria when I was in college - but I've never been to Alaska and I've been wanting to go there for a really long time. Regarding traveling, she has an interest in the snowier side of the world. It was unbelievable to watch and listen to my kids sing in a music hall with so much history, where so many notable composers and musicians also performed." If we're talking amazing, life changing, never forget it, specific favorite memories - my favorite would have to be watching my students sing their dress rehearsal for their concert at Carnegie Hall in New York in May 2019. She was also asked what her favorite memory teaching chorus was and she said, "In everyday teaching, I love the moment when we sing harmony in a piece of music together for the first time and everyone in the room feels a connection with one another. When we're not hanging out at Disney, we really enjoy swimming and watching baseball and football." My favorite park is Magic Kingdom, but I'll happily spend a day at any of the four. When asked what her favorite thing to do outside of school was she responded with, "I enjoy visiting the Walt Disney World theme parks with my two awesome children and my husband. This is her 15th year teaching and has spent her whole teaching career at Markham Woods Middle School. Antmann teaches all three of the choral classes offered at Markham Woods Middle School which are Beginners Chorus, Concert Chorus, and Black and Silver Singer Chorus. Antmann as a smiling face on campus! Mrs. (these) experiences inspired me to want better and more for myself."Įven if you don't take chorus, you probably know Mrs. Miller's life mission is to "inspire all people to live and serve in a way that enables them to reach their full potential." He mentioned that his experiences as a child and young adult "really served as a catalyst to aspire for better than my circumstances when I was a child. "I love my daddy because he tells me I'm beautiful every day," said Jessica Robyn, Mr. Miller loves to watch comedy movies with his daughters and wife and having fun with his close friends by making them laugh. He graduated from USF with a Bachelor's degree in Criminology, and received his Master's degree in Educational Leadership from National Louis University. Miller attended the University of South Florida on a football scholarship. Students want to be heard and want to know someone cares about them." This is his fourteenth year in education, and we are very excited to have him here at Markham. MKMS is different from my previous school as the demographics are not the same but all middle school students have the same needs. When asked how his experience at Markham Woods Middle School is different from other schools he has worked at, he responded with, "I really like the culture and climate at MKMS. He has worked at several other schools throughout four Florida counties, and this is his first time working within Seminole County Public Schools. is the newest assistant principal here at Markham Woods Middle School. We also support student field trips to the American Southwest, Costa Rica, Germany and other European countries on a yearly basis, that provides enriching outreach opportunities for our students.Mr. Webber students also participate in PSD middle school athletics, where our school community has won 50+ district championships over the last 25 years. Students can also participate in drama, theater, outdoor living, Science Olympiads, Math Counts, The WAVE program and our student leadership program (Web Leaders). Webber also offers a wide variety of enrichment activities for our students that include our award winning band, orchestra and choir programs. Webber recently began a 1:1 laptop home/school program with all 6th and 7th grade students to enrich the learning cycle for our school community. These core academic areas are balanced with other choices in electives, arts and athletics to ensure a whole child approach to learning. We offer challenging academic class options, including Pre-Advanced Placement courses in core classes for 7th and 8th graders and a full exploratory wheel for 6th Grade students. Webber Middle School offers academically rigorous, standards-based curriculum for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. Throughout the school community, 6 Ps are emphasized: Prompt, Polite, Positive, Productive, Persistent, and Proud.
